A Message to all AAA Groups
We request that AAA Groups do not send any donations or 7th traditions to us and that all donations be used for the benefit of your groups.
Bringing people together
We bring people together, not based on the kind of addiction they have, but instead on the mutual need to recover.
We believe this works because your addiction, whatever the form it takes, may be a symptom of a common spiritual problem we all share.
Being in a group like this means you are supported by those who have been through their own struggle with addiction, and have recovered by using a common solution.

Our values and beliefs
We believe there is no wrong way to get support. What you need at one point may be
different from what you need at another. You may find that you need to
attend multiple groups, or need to connect with the right person who can
reach you.
AAA exists as an option for you. You can attend no matter what your addiction is. You can attend our group as well as others if that's what works for you.
We believe in the tradition of anonymity. We don't need to know your name. You don't even have to tell us what your addiction is if you don't want to.
We also believe in the importance of rigorous honesty. We know how difficult it can be to be honest with others, and especially ourselves. We've all had to face that challenge in our own lives. It's a journey and we are here to help you as you travel.

How AAA works
Our program works for every kind of addiction you are struggling with.We use the big book step study meeting format for all of our meetings. At AAA meetings people who have recovered from their addictions and have completed the steps as they are laid out in the basic text of AA with a big book step study sponsor and as part of a big book step study group share their experience, strength, and hope with each others so others can recover from their addiction. If there are no qualified sponsors at your new meeting AAA will help you find a long distance sponsor to guide you through the steps. Once you have completed the steps with your sponsor you will be qualified to share your experience at meetings and sponsor others through the process. The purpose of AAA big book step study recovery is to help individuals build a relationship with their higher power to overcome all of their problems.
Is it right for you?
Our program works for those who want to recover and are willing to complete this process honestly.
